Homemade rolls are a family favorite. I make the basic white bread recipe in my bread machine then cut the dough into pieces and shape gently by tucking the dough underneath (minimal handling for a tender roll) and brush with butter, herbs, garlic and salt. Let rise and bake. The next day, if any are left over, I make sandwiches for the kids with them.
