Grammy

My grandmother is 89 years old. She still tends to her flowers and her garden. She mows her grass and keeps house, and she still drives. I put in a photo of her hands because when I think of my Gram I see her hands and her flowers. She is always making sure every one's thirst or hunger is satisfied. She is legendary for her blond brownies. The roses are a cutting from her grandmother, Minnie Bell's house which is across the street from her house (sold out of the family long ago). Every year I think about carrying a cutting home and trying to grow it in the desert. The beautiful peony outfoxed the ever hungry deer.
