I am making my first gingerbread house of the season. My girlfriend opened up a cupcake and gift shop and wants to bring gingerbread house building to the public. I have agreed to do this despite my feelings of inadequacy (I am not a perfectionist, my houses are sometimes warped in my haste to roll out the dough etc.) I started making gingerbread houses when my kids were toddlers and invited a few people over and now 9 years later it is still going strong. We are putting up a decorated house in her shop with a sign-up to see how much interest it generates. I am diving in.
