We went to Mike's Pastry and Modern Pastry on Hanover Street in Boston to see for ourselves who had the better cannoli. In our opinion Modern won hands down. If you want a homemade tasting cannoli then you must go with Modern. Mikes' had an artificial flavor to it. The fun thing about Mike's is they string their boxes by hand while Modern has a machine.
